I guess since I read the thriller/mystery/suspense genre quite a bit, I just get more picky about these books since there are lots of comparison!christa @ mental foodiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06272799752169958460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5454479067313539656.post-25718497982286834422011-07-30T14:05:53.247-05:002011-07-30T14:05:53.247-05:00Thanks for the comment on my review! I like your analysis.Unruly Readerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06269889689990923227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5454479067313539656.post-63448753531558905292011-07-24T00:41:07.735-05:002011-07-24T00:41:07.735-05:00@Marce - I was also toying between 3 and 3.5. I just wish it was written as a thriller/mystery rather than an adult fiction like you said (that is why I try to avoid books that said "A Novel" after its title. Been burnt too many times thinking it's a thriller but not!) I do like the psychological aspect of it, just wish it was executed differently.christa @ mental foodiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06272799752169958460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5454479067313539656.post-40589668291154719622011-07-23T21:46:26.313-05:002011-07-23T21:46:26.313-05:00I just finished it Christa and wasn't impresse...I just finished it Christa and wasn't impressed, thinking about my review, I am between 3 and 3 1/2.

Repetition, not being surprised or ever feeling like it was a thriller or mystery is my issue, felt like an adult fiction.

I would have recommended to you though because of the psychological part.Marcehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10136238772526246675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5454479067313539656.post-79887418682580770682011-06-19T18:44:33.482-05:002011-06-19T18:44:33.482-05:00@Aths - I know some people like ambiguous endings,...@Aths - I know some people like ambiguous endings, but I need closure :) It does provide closure for the most part, but not 100%... which is still better than some other endings I'd read I guess.

@reviewsbylola - can't wait to see what you think! It does have pretty good reviews overall I think.christa @ mental foodiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06272799752169958460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5454479067313539656.post-26132765908185806462011-06-19T16:03:30.044-05:002011-06-19T16:03:30.044-05:00I really want to read this one. I know...I'm going to be starting this one soon! I know what you mean by ambiguous endings - many of these memory loss thrillers seem to depend on that, which is sad. It's good to have some closure.Athirahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03366654538383603004noreply@blogger.com
